NTIOMstore is the Storage Management solution for
Microsoft Windows NT. Properly designed for Windows NT, NTIOMstore uses native
NTFS to maximise performance, making all jukeboxes easy to use and administer.
NTIOMstore provides unique ease of use to system administrators by closely
integrating into the Microsoft kernel. NTIOMstore installs in seconds and configures
in minutes, providing quick and easy access to jukebox storage.

NTIOMstore provides full transparent management
of Jukeboxes within the Windows NT environment. Jukeboxes are configured directly
into the Microsoft Explorer View as one or more standard NTFS drive letters.
NTIOMstore supports long file names and ensures jukebox resources are easily shared
across the network.

NTIOMstore keeps all data safe all the time and provides full
NTFS security for control of data access. Uniquely, using NTFS, NTIOMstore ensures
all directories are written where they should be - with the data on the jukebox
media.

Caches
Configurable Cache Migration
NTIOMstore provides multiple configurable
magnetic disk caches making it the fastest performing product of its type. To
maximise the performance of the jukebox, magnetic disk caches are simply and quickly
configured in varying sizes to suit differing applications. These caches deliver
high performance by holding directory information and data together. The caches
do not require backing up as NTIOMstore does not rely on them for data integrity
or accessibility. Should caches be lost, they are automatically rebuilt from the
NTFS filesystem written to the jukebox media.
Spanning
Seamless media Spanning
Writing files and data larger than a single disc
NTIOMstore allows jukeboxes to be logically partitioned into varying capacities,
transparently spanning media boundaries providing seamless mass storage. Each
logical partition uses it’s own dedicated cache and jukebox media to keep
data segregated.

Networked Pentium 400MHz (min) system with a minimum of 128MB memory
