Flexible D-Series libraries allow mixing of media to suit most archiving applications and user requirements. Plasmon’s D-Series libraries are available with two, four or six drives, along with the patented Rotation Station™ for use with 9.4GB double-sided media. The D-120, D-240, and D-480 libraries each come with a patented dual-picker for higher performance and the library family is scalable from 752GB to 4.1TB.

Drives and Media
Plasmon’s mid-sized D-Series libraries come standard with Multi Drives for optimum flexibility and performance. These drives support reading and writing of DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-R and CD-RW media. DVD-R offers Write-Once-Read-Many (WORM) protection along with 9.4GB capacities and high throughput. DVD-RAM is rewriteable and is also available in double-sided 9.4GB media.
